I don`t agree with cops abusing their power but since there were three officers there taking him down I am willing to bet he was evading capture and probably doing 100mph through neighbourhoods.

Not seeing the whole chase, the guy could of also taken a shot at the cop at one point. If that was the case, I would beat the crap out of the guy too.

Just a simple misunderstanding! That cop didn`t realize the dash cam of that car was pointing right at um, thats all.

My god the small mindedness of some of these posters! Hello! Once a suspect is on the ground, clearly unarmed and has a cop kneeling on your neck, any further injury to the suspect is assault. Even if he just spent the last five hours murdering children.

This is pure thuggery and is one of the main reasons there are cameras in cop cars - to protect the police officer AND to protect the suspect.

I`m going to point out a bit of a psychological aspect that many people seem to look over.

Now, I hate A LOT of cops.. I could go on for a while about it trust me, however I hunt with and share a last name with a few as well.

My Father was a cop for 28 years, however he was the cop who a lot of criminals would phone when they got in trouble because they knew he could be trusted and would help them.

My brother however became a cop about 7 years ago.. he`s 37, I`m 23, growing up he was the happiest funniest all around awesome guy. Everyone who knew him thought he was just the greatest guy going.. after 7 years of being a cop.. his sperit is broken, he is quieter, easily angered and just walks around with a dark cloud over his head.

Think about you at work, hard fucking long days where you would just love to smash someones fucking head in.. not seriously but it`s there in the back of your mind. Now put yourself in the position of a cop who`s job is WAY the fuck harder that way then yours.

They deal with the lowest of low life shit every single day.. they see the worst of the worst all day long, eventually that would likely cause you to lose all faith in humanity. I think most of these "Police abuse" video`s are just an other video of someone snapping at work.. however they also have the knowledge that they unlike most people are likely going to get away with it.. even if they aren`t thinking that, subconsciously they understand that and so it`s just way to easy to knock someone the fuck out.

I don`t condone it, I just think we have to uderstand that these aren`t neccissarily bad people and that cops aren`t all dick wads. I think MANY suffer from serious psychological problems... or they are just complete dicks, fair enough they exist. It`s just that everyone seems to love saying "FUCKING ALL COPS ARE SHIT BLA BLA BLA" No fuck bag.. all cops are just like you and me.. it`s a job like anything else, and it effects certain people in an unfortunate way.

there`s no excuse for that. I can dig your brothers plight with having the job take away his personality, but that`s the job he signed up for and if there isnt adequate training and psychological attention given to these cops and this is the behavior that results then they are not doing their job.

Bottom line is that was flat out assault no matter what the guy did. That cop should be arrested and charged just like any other person in this world would.

It`s an insane double standard that has gotten so out of hand, that this is merely a tap on the shoulder compared to some of the other stuff that cops get away with.

COPS ARE HYPOCRITES!
