About as defenseless as cows and chicken. I`m with longchamps unless your a vegetarian then its just hypocritical. You may be opposed to wearing seal fur but I doubt you don`t own a piece of leather.

Maybe before judging other people and getting angry about "ruthless baby seal murderers" you should do some research and have an informed opinion. There are economic and environmental reasons for killing the seals, and I highly doubt that anyone out there is doing it for shits and giggles. If all the bleeding hearts actually took the time to read up on the hunt, for example by reading the articles that longchamps and erico so graciously posted, you would know some of the reasons for the hunt, and also that the killing of baby seals is in fact illegal.

I for one am not, however, I am against the method that they are choosing to kill the seals. It is a little cruel, to say the least.

I`m gonna be sick. This is quite possible some of the most nauseating shit to ever exist. But to brodcast this is just "shock" for the "cause" How about spending some of that time and energy on real issues. There is no reason to say these Canadians have no honor. Ever seen a video of what goes on in a slaughterhouse? Think of that next time you are eating a hamburger.

I think it is sick as hell to kill a baby seal. The babies don`t even know any better so they don`t try to get away.

Probably most if not all of these people just consider it a job to make money and nothing else. Don`t blame them.
