Wow I`d be interested to know if this interview was before or after the Dawkins interview he did.

In the Dawkins interview, Dawkins pointed out to Bill that Hitler was in fact a Roman Catholic when Bill said Hitler was an atheist. In this interview Bill said that the third reich were Roman Catholic fundementalist fanatics.

Whether before the Dawkins interview or after, Bill still misses the point and the distinction between evil people who happen to be religious, and people doing evil things in the name of religion.

i usually can`t stand BillO, but he was ok in this interview. i even agreed with his last comment about us criticizing muslim radicals probably won`t do any good. it will just make them hate us more. i still agree with harris though. we need to teach not just the facts of science but the reasoning behind science that makes believing in heavenly virgins or magic catholic crackers insane.

Hi EckJerome. I was refering to when he said this:

"We have always had, on this earth, crazy extremists in every RELIGION. Even in, I`m a roman catholic, you had the inquisition, and we`ve always had it. In the thrid reich you had regular german people signing off on slaughtering jews. We`ve always had this."

So there he is talking about crazy extremists in every religion and mentions the thrid reich. whether or not he is talking about Roman Catholicism or not (I still think he was, seeing as he was on that topic), it`s a far cry from the Nazi`s being all down to an Atheist agenda, as was inplied in the Dawkins interview.

The point of the video is that Oreilly claims that people who believe the holy eucharist is an actual piece of christ are more rational than people who believe you will receive 40 virgins in the afterlife. And of course he is completely wrong.
