He actually did keep his promise. Germany went from a nation the equivalent to about Mexico to the greatest country in the world at that time, economically and militarily.

I have to admit, I clicked on this and winced, afraid I was about to be Rick-rolled.

Anyway, yes, he`s fascinating to watch. It helps understand how people were duped by hatred, wrapped in a flag, as is too often the case even today.

If you haven`t done so, do yourself a favour and see "Der Untergang/ The Downfall". Without exception, the best and most human depiction I`ve seen of Hitler and those around him, ever.
