this vid was comedy, but what whathtefark said is true and is not... anyone with a family name linked to a job related to death, undertakers, butchers, whatever is strongly discriminated against in japan. not only that but japanese ppl will tell u how honorable they are and how they&re better than the chinese and all, then bring that up and they`re all "no, that`s different". japanese ppl r generally very kind and courteous when u meet them, but they always regard whatever makes them feel best about themselves as being the truth which pisses me off.

What sato-san says is very true, Japan is the most racist country i have ever been in. Most real estate agents will not serve forigners and if they do they charge much more. Many bars and night clubs will not allow forigners to enter (except for in roppongi). People will stand on a crowded train rather than sit next to a forigner. Even the common term for "forigner" (gaijin) is an insulting term in Japanese.
Yeh... nice "polite" people... sure... untill you get to know them.
