Their not going to decriminalize it because its too much of a cash cow,hefty fines,$20,000 per convict per year,billions for new prisons,and they`re iching to privatise it when that happens watch those numbers explode.The medical thing is a bait and switch,sure you can have it but you`ll have stiffer penaltys for the "illegal"type.Some places have decriminalized it and are contiunously catching shit for it,almost every new bill in those places has a "make it illegal again"clause.

^I`ve seen people incarcerated for it,meanwhile there are more "illegal"substances on the money we use.Im amazed I dont fail piss tests just paying for gas.

I`m all for medical marijuana.. Its legal in Washington state where I live. I could get my "green card" (medical card saying you can have small amount of pot), but the wife would throw a shit fit. I have chronic back pains and migraines..

I just want to point out that if anyone chooses to vote for a candidate just because that candidate supports legalizing marijuana, then that person is no less ignorant than the person who chooses to vote for George Bush because he or she likes his personality.
