^ I couldn`t agree more Miles, I get enough of that slow motion effect at work, and I`m sick and fucking tired of the ghosts under my bed fucking with me! It`s a fucking shame to have to deal with it in my video games!

Aww man, I love FEAR, FPS`s don`t get much better than this franchise. The gameplay just feels so good and clean. Probably one of the only games to actually scare me at times, Alma popping up in the most unexpected places.

But this right here, this looks like it`s going to competely take the cake. They have really went to work on this one. I can`t wait. First thing I`m going to do is pop it in on Extreme difficulty. So far, this looks like it`s easily going to be one of the best FPS`s of the year.

I mean, just the gameplay alone in these games are up there with Rainbow 6 and Call of Duty. You have massive campaigns, Badass Multiplayer, and of course the Instant Action Maps. These games are well worth the money with so much to do. I love games with loads of content. Than of course they have decent stories behind them as well. Project Origin will probably have the best story to date.

This is also one of the truly privileged handful of FPS games to get all 8`s and 9`s for review`s from all the reviewers, whether PC or Console. Either way it`s an awesome package.

Sorry for all the jibber, i`m just stoked about this one. When this comes out, I`ll start a thread in the forums, and maybe some of can meet up and play MP together. I`m Xbox 360. So, we`ll have to play that way. Anyone know if it will be Co-op?

Anyone think that was frighteningly similar combat engine/interface as Battlefield 2142.
The walkers in both games have the circular cross-hairs and change color when you hit someone.
Looks a damn good game though!

Project Origin is using an enhanced JupiterEX engine, while Battlefield 2142 used a custom engine that they never really had a name for, or released a name for. They said it had better rendering and shading and thats about all they would say. They just sort of kept it quiet.

Did they use the JupiterEX engine for FEAR? If so It`s very similar to the Havok engine which is used in the Halflife 2 series.. IMO

Yeah, I live in a place called Auburn.

So playing FEAR and hearing the whole "Auburn" scenario was enough to freak me out a little.

Plus, i would always play FEAR with surround sound high at two am!!

Shit stains galore!
