I have been wanting to do this type of jump for like the last year and a half, but the suits are around $1,500-$2,000 not including the parachute.

@ girlrepellent, suits like this cost approx 1000 USD, go search companies like "Phoenixfly", "Birdman", "Matter" or (my favorite) "Fly Your Body". Forward speeds depends on the wingsuit your using, some are made for aerial acrobatics, some for max lift and others for max speed. Speeds of about 100 to 130 mph horizontally are not unheard of.

On a side note, the guy flying over the snowhill in close proximity is Loic Jean-Albert, flying a "Fly Your Body S-fly Expert". He owns the company "fly your body" and is one of the Soulflyers, one the best base-wingsuit jumpers out there.

Bluelight83 you took the words right outta my mouth.

I was in awe watching the guy flying only a few (maybe more like 20m lol couldn`t tell from that angle) metres away from the snow. That would be the best thing to do in the entire world, ever.
