Whoever voted this down is retarded. This is a fantastic video and people like this guy should be supported greatly by anyone building homes. We need more entrepreneurs to take these steps to increase efficiency of our homes or we will all suffocate under the blanket of toxins that we are spewing all over ourselves.
Even if this isn`t exactly as he described its still a fantastic video and idea.

Amen to Vonnegut and this inventor. Amazing! Vonnegut is one of my heroes. It`s great to see his brilliance become reality. Like Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and others, yesterday`s fiction is today`s fact.

Resin and rosin both exist. Resin is an exudate from softwood trees. Rosin is formerly called colophony or Greek pitch is a solid form of resin obtained from pines and some other plants, mostly conifers, produced by heating fresh liquid resin to vaporize the volatile liquid terpene components.

That is genius! Can we get a few clones of this guy made? Maybe use them to replace Tila Tiquila, and Flavor Flav?

Great now lets start tearing down every house in America and re-build them with this technology cause that`s the only way this thing will do any fucking difference. Great discovery, bad fucking timing.

EDIT: Also, it won`t work in the northern parts of the world since you need the heat during day time to keep it lit during the night time. If there the area has cold winters the system won`t work either since it need heat to work, to low temperature and the wood simply freezes.

A great idea, just curious as to how the wood will stand the test of time, to me it sounds like a wood that is constantly changing phases might have a quicker wear & tear just from expanding and contracting.

5/5 for the good American innovation and for the sex swing about half-way through. RIP Vonnegut

1/5, snake oil salesmen are everywhere. To lie (or hint ) and say you have 80 homes that are without furnaces is untrue. Not only that but then showing the picture of the house in the middle of winter and having people assume it heats itself with just the power of the sun. (Even on cloudy days) is complete and utter BS.

People like this need to be put into jail, your going to end up with a home that falls apart (built with scrap wood), in 20 years that costs 3 times more than a regular house and still needs a furnace and air conditioner.

Good American Marketing tactic. But I can`t quite buy into his idea of house made of wood heating & air cooling itself. This is just like pre-fab house which was supposed to cost less than traditional house but in fact it cost 2-3 times more to build.
