Creation 'Science' Made Easy

Creation Science is fairly simple to understand. The conclusion is laid out for you -- just read Genesis -- so there's nothing to investigate. The question is whether this really is science. Even if it isn't, should it be taught in school as a way of 'opening' young minds? This is the penultimate video in the 'Made Easy' series, which looks at the evidence showing our origins, from the Big Bang to the human migration out of Africa. Music: Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' (Leonard Bernstein, pianist and conductor)

The Simpsons theme was precious- both highlighting the cartoon picture "expelled" paints and how the movie stole ideas from other people.

Also, the arguments that were presented here were very well executed. Probably my favorite Anti-intelligent design video.

^It is funny how Bart Simpson, someone who is routinely shown to lack brainpower, is imitated by Ben Stein.

i hope arguments that are unrelated to the main idea in the vid won`t be brought up. this vid talks about why ID is not a science, and therefore not included in public school cirriculum. it`s pretty clearcut and has already been decided on by supreme courts, i forgot if it was state or federal or both. hope the topic won`t change to how people are trying to supress religion. it`s about keeping any 1 religion from spreading into an area where the law from the beginning has deemed it separate.

The scientific community needs to pool its resources and form an organisation similar to the anti-defamation league to protect the name of science.

Think about it - all the people/companies using psuedo-science or scienctific language to sell you crap could be taken to court and FORCED to prove themselves, hopefully very publically. ID would be eaten alive

The world isn`t ready for facts like that, trust me i`ve been fired for even insinuating it. Reading into early nazism economics or suggesting maybe the Nazi engineers had a good idea is tantamount to suicide.

It`s as revisionist as the religious, or the gays, or neocons.

"The world isn`t ready" for such facts? Really? I think they`re pretty common knowledge: Werner von Braun`s pioneering work with the US space programme, along with other ex-Nazi scientists; the collaboration between former Nazis and the victorious allies against the new enemy of Soviet totalitarianism; hell, even the VW Bug - an icon of the 60s - was and is widely acknowledged to be Hitler`s brainchild. I don`t think any of these facts are at all controversial.

Now is it what you said, or the way you said it that got you into trouble? Did you mention these things in a way that made you sound like a Nazi? `Cause sometimes you do...

Such facts are controversial to those who don`t know them. How many people do you think would believe you if you told them sattelites, ICBMs, even the computer (at least, the early formation of it`s designs) were Nazi constructs? You should know how weakminded people are. Nazi is a blacklisted word, and attributing such great advances to them is like saying Satan made the earth in 666 days to them.

^you`ve obviously never been to america

too many people in this country just blindly believe what they`re told without thinking for themselves or researching anything on their own

entropy isn`t trying to act scholarly or worldly; he`s correct that many people don`t realize the history that actually happened

EDIT: the comment i was referring to was deleted

^^ yep, the history books have been rewrote and rewrote to the extent you dont know whats real or not anymore, i can remember when i first got cable TV, i done alot of work on WW1 and 2 in school so i sat down to the history channel only to see the american version of histroy, and beleive me, its VERY different from what actualy happened, and its only getting worse, why do you think Bush is always going on about how history will jugde him? this is because he knows that in 20 years time when the history books have be mangled beyond truth he`ll probably be painted a jesus reborn, even though in reality he easily the most universaly despised man on the face of the planet!!

but america is going backward, people say their falling behind, lol, they WAY, WAY behind, the only thing america is at the top of nowadays is DEBT thats about it, its economy is dead, its already HIGHLY overrated army is beaten to a pulp, the technology has fallen WAY behind (in terms of what the people on the street have) , and education wise you guys are heading back to thwe dark ages, agian this is the simple fact that, stupid people make good voters!!

not once did u actually talk about creation science, you just call it names and discredit it but you never talk about it and explain why its wrong and how easily it can be disproven, not discredited.
