In Joel 3:8 God warns that, “I will sell your sons and your daughters to the Judians, and they shall in turn sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off.” But wait there`s more, 1 Tim. 6:1-2; “Let slaves regard their masters as worthy of all honor." In Titus 2:9-10 slaves are ordered to, “Be submissive to your master and give satisfaction in every respect." Also check Ephesians 6:5 and Colossians 3:22 which say, “Slaves obey your master.". Neither the Old or New Testament contains an outright condemnation of this infamous institution.

God does not change.

Still I think he has judged the government fairly. They are acting like they are God and thus perfect. The U.S. government has killed thousands of people and is probably responsible for the death of millions because their idiotic actions have led to so many wars most news stations won`t even report them anymore.

I don`t see what is so controversial about this sermon. He spoke the truth. While today things have progressed, we are far from a fair and free society. We have a country that works better than many if not most. We can always do better and shouldn`t settle for the status quo ever.

I like how americans say "well we stopped slavery".
So you do something thats obviously immoral and disgusting for years and years, then decide you can`t get away with it anymore and stop, and are supposed to be praised for that.

You also say that Africa sold them to us, so it was their own industry and their own fault. Well just because some people in Africa were getting rich off selling slaves, doesnt mean the African people were turning their own people over for slavery. Thats like saying all of America must support the war because Bush is making money off it. American troops are the new slaves, Bush sends them over there and profits off them.
