Because it`s not necessarily the same mechanic. The idea wasn`t bad as much as it wasn`t practical. Go back and watch it and you`ll hear why it was bad: Only good for 300 shots. Then it`s a POS.

If a weapon isn`t practical it`s a "bad idea". Period.

The "cornershot" also has its weaknesses.

The biggest one being that you are limited to lower-powered, less accurate, shorter ranged and lower capacity handgun.
