This is a shame, because I really like Tom Hanks. But Obama cannot be compared to the likes of Kennedy or Ron Paul, who both address/ed the fundamental issues with the USA. Unless Obama drastically changes as president, you can say goodbye to your national boundaries, and eventually your constitution.

As things stand at the moment, Obama, regardless of intent, is very much a globalist and someone who voted for the Iraq profit war.

oh come on people. I hear you all bashing Tom Hanks because you think it retarded to listen to him. Whether you like to think it or not, most of us base our votes on someone else`s opinion. These people are called "opinion leaders". These are people that are in tune with politics and who`s opinions carry weight in our lives. Most of us are too busy to get really involved with politics and rely on these opinion leaders. So whether it be your parents, your best friend, coworker, or Tom Hanks; it`s all the same. Don`t bash him, he is an intelligent man, just take it with a grain of salt and maybe use it as a reference.
