I hate Kilpatrick; corrupt, and terrible at what he does

However, he is articulate, loved by a lot of the public and is black. In fact, if Kilpatrick was white, he would have been chased out of Detroit long ago for his corruption of power...

This affair is personal, his use of city money and power wasn`t.

I disagree with the assessment that we are a "prude society". It`s the exact opposite. We are a voyeuristic, fetish obsessed society that gets it`s thrills by pretending to disapprove of perceived moral failings, but at the same time are unable to stop studying them in their minutest detail. To label such behaviors as taboo only serves to make their unveiling that much more thrilling. A prudish society would never even speak of such things in mass media. And certainly never with such glee and candor.
