ohhh man... what the hell. This is terrible. I won`t forget what i`ve seen today. Roger Williamson (4:00) and Tom Pryce (5:20) were the worst ones. Men burning alive and getting ripped apart. Jesus... fucked up. I almost cried seeing the man trying to help Roger Williamson our of his burning car, yet no one else was trying because they all thought it was too late. :( Can check F1 racing off my list of things to do before i die, unless of course I decide that`s how i want to die...

Helmuth Koinigg was decapitated in his crash. Instead of the barrier stopping him, he went under it.

How did they handle it? They threw a tarp over his body and continued with the race.

Nice respect.

Pryce was the one that hit the track official. The fire extinguisher he was carrying smashed into Pryce`s helmet, pushig it up into him.

Real2m makes a good point.

Formula 1 is now super safe. You`re probably actually safer in a formulat 1 car, or le mans, or grand prix car going at over 100 mph than in your regular car driving at 60.

All racing is now insanely safe.

Science & Technology FTW.

I can`t believe how much the older cars used to blow up!
They were driving in ticking time bombs!
The extinguishers seemed to just make the flames bigger...
So horrific... So brave... So terribly sad...
Even though all their friends and family, weather they were watching or racing, knew of the fatal possibilities...
It wouldn`t make it any easier seeing them crash and burn to death like that :c R.I.P
