any new scientific descovery will always have flood of skepticism surrounding it because either other sicentists are jealous or some large corporation do not want the discovery known until they can work out a way to make money from it, or because they are making to much money from what they are using at the moment. Look what happened with the hydrogen and eletric car engine.
There also have been scientists that just want to be known and make anything up. Who knows who and what to believe in the science world.

If you have a large population wnating something to be true they can make it true, through deception.

As was said in this doco "if you cant reproduce it`s not science" if no one can reproduce something it is forgoten about. Put`s a big question mark around evolution, to why people really push it.

^^ What exactly is this question mark?

There`s nothing special about the theory of evolution. It is simply the best theory we currently have for explaining the diversity of biology. If we ever discover something about biology that is inconsistent with evolution, scientists will have no sentimental trouble revising or scrapping this theory.

In science nobody would "push" an existing theory. The most boring thing a scientist can do is to confirm a current theory. Every young and ambition scientist strives to make a discovery that would challenge the current way of thinking. Therefore, if there are evidence that contradict evolution or any other theory, it wouldn`t be hidden for very long.

Going to go watch part four, but welcome to science and the school of hard knocks.

You want unlimited energy? You want to end all energy wars for ALL time?

Then you better make sure your math adds up. You gotta` look out for extraneous factors. You gotta smooth out bumps and mark up complications of possible errors. Then you gotta` go back, fix it, re-evaluate your hypothesis, then test it AGAIN.

Yes it takes a long time.

Yes it takes a lot of work.

But that`s how it is. Does it suck for scientists like this?

If your answer is "yes, that sucks for him"... then that`s the primary reason you`re a -consumer- not a scientist. It doesn`t suck, that`s just the scientific process. Especially for something this incredibly important.
