Thanks for the insight. That's what I believe, and I think most people realize it. They just choose to ignore it. If your black friends let you call them "niggah" then fine. But I haven't met many who wouldn't despise you if you called them a "nigger". Does that make us "cry babies"? I think not. Remeber African Americans are the same people who endured hundreds of years of slavery followed by persecution and murder. Depends on context as well. Ohh and I'd love to know how the kid was "acting like a nigger". Could any of you be racists by any chance? Maybe black kids shouldn't be alowed to stand by doors anymore. Now that'll teach em aye?

What is your point with the Nigerian analogy? Do they denegrate themselves too? Stop being an apologist for moronic kids, they do far worse than what the teacher said. They don't even live in America. It's a word that they've been using for each other in the absense of whites for ages. Because of their dialect they shorten "Nigerian", and add some of their native accent to it.
