I'm not sure what I think about this one. I think the word can be acceptable depending on who says it. This guy oozes racism for some reason ... you can just kind of tell.

I think you can use this word with your black friends because it's acceptable. But a friend of mine has a black child, but she is white, and if I used that word in front of her I would be MORTIFIED. It's a weird subject. I personally don't find anything wrong with it because I'm not racist. I don't care what anybody calls me.

I agree with CanadianChick, the guy oozes racism, and doesn't look like he meant it in a nice way, kids aren't as stupid as we credit them for, they can tell when something is told to them in a good way or in a bad way, if he'd said it in a friendly sort of way i don't think he'd get in trouble. I remember when I was in high school a teacher of mine told a student he was gonna "bring his pimp hand down on her" cuz she didn't hand in an assignment, the girl just laughed at him and turned in the assignment the next day, she didn't go to the principal or anything because she knew he was just joking around with her...
