don`t know why we have to keep watching videos on this shit. Honest to god i`m over this argument about homosexuals.

I`m gay, successful and happy - I really couldn`t give two shits what some uneducated person thinks about my private life - the same uneducated fuckheads I have to carry at work, pay taxes to support the families of and work in a public health system to give healthcare to.

I`m not about to go champion the gay rights cause cos` most gays ruin it for the rest of us. AND I dont want any upper middle classed white fuckheads who know nothing about what it is to be in a minority championing it for me.(im white btw)

My heart goes out to these people - but that country needs to change its views on a lot of things, not just homosexuals. Kudos to them for going about their lives the way that they have to.

What I think this best shows is that as a gay person - u have to make a lot of concessions for how other people feel about u, and have to change ur behaviour to suit other people`s shortcommings and attitudes. Its a part of being gay - you cant be who u are in front of ignorant people cos they arent ready.....no amount of puttin it in their faces will ever change their views...u need to educate people gradually - it will take generations for people to come to accept homosexuals - no use rushing the process.

^ A few points:

I already responded to your post on the first part. I won`t repeat what I wrote there, other than to say that I think vids like this can be part of the gradual education you speak of. Not sure where your hostility is coming from. Are you frustrated about this kind of discrimination and just taking it out here?

"No use rushing the process"? Hmmm, it`s been a couple of thousand years of being burned at the stake, jailed, banished and bashed. I think it`s time for something new. Don`t you?

And finally, this isn`t just about Queers. As I`ve pointed out already, straights are bashed, too, in places like Iran, Taliban Afghanistan, and in fundamen-taliban, bible-belt USA. Women are punished to stonings, men are lynched for whistling at the "wrong" women, young girls are bartered like chattel among and between polygamous cults. Gay rights are straight rights; sexual freedom is something that benefits All, just as sexual repression harms everyone.
