If any one is interested in this kind of stuff I would like to suggest a great book called "The Supernatural" by Graham Hancock. Its a great read and very informative and offers a new point of view on religious iconography and dogma.

If reading`s what your looking for... Breaking Open the Head by Daniel Pinchbeck.

I`m reading it right now. It`s about Contemporary Shamanism and the guy who wrote it puts himself through many of the psychedelic trances, initiations, and experiments.

Great book with lots of great references to some older ones on the same subject.

This kind of stuff fascinates me.

Fun fact: people who inject or smoke high doses of DMT, (the active ingredient in Ayahuasca,) are convinced that they are transported to some sort free standing realities above and beyond this one. And when they do it multiple times in the same session, they seem to pick up right where they left off.

More B33r: If you(people in general) are not ready for the Ayahuasca experience it can be quite frightening.
The Ayahuasca is not just another drug, it`s a "gateway" that must be respected.
Some gates should not be opened until you are prepared for what you may find on the other side.
When I took Ayhuasca the first time, I wasn`t prepared and it almost destroyed my sanity.
The next time I was, and the Green Goddess spoke.
It changed my life.

Yeah dude you can order all the plants and make the brew yourself. Its DMT and a MAOI. You need the MAOI to stop DMT from breaking down so fast. Hence why when you smoke it, it last for a couple of minutes. So oral ingestion is out of the question without the MAOI.
Just like if you wanted morphine you can order poppies from ebay.
LSA, cousin of LSD, in morning glory seeds (HWBR are the best btw)

I hate to bust your bubble guys, but take any drug that changes your perception of reality, while you`re tripping it`s just a big mindf*( nothing really special, but here`s the kicker

You`ll come back from the trip talking about how it was this super religious profound experience.

While in reality you`re laying on your couch watching tv and this drug is just busting your balls and you fall for it like a 2 year old.


Oh but they`re in the forest, so it MUST be a deep connection with nature thanks to this drug where they`re convinced that trees talk to them. Please, give me a break.

As fun as some drugs are, it`s played up waaaaaaaay too much. If you`ve never taken psychoactives before, FYI it`s not as magical as you think

if it`s ancient, it must be something mind blowing and super cool.

yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaa man we`ll have a religious experience cause we`re convinced we`re in a higher state of reality maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.


Take away the fancy camera and studio work, the music, the acting, and you`re left with a bunch of people sitting around getting stoned.
