Media Caught Lying v2

stumbled on a stunning disconnect between the major media version of election coverage and candidate appearance trends on the internet. The Mainstream Media seems to have largely ignored something major on the web. This version corrects a minor error in the first version. Note: This video has attracted a lot of attention from hater-trolls so I may block anyone that comes here to make trouble. All respectful and intelligent discussion is welcome.

For the Search Terms on Youtube, I don`t think we can count on that!

Just the word RON returns : “Ron” video results 1 - 20 of about 348,000

and Paul : "Paul" video results 1 - 20 of about 867,000

We can noticed that most of the result have nothing to do with Ron Paul!

So, it must have something like 75% of the search terms that are accurate.

The percentage can be different for every candidate name!

Barack Obama is often simply refered to as Obama, so if you search for Ron Paul vs Obama the conspiracy evaporates:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=ron+paul%2C+obama&ctab=0&geo=

all&date=all&sort=0

On youtube:
Ron paul: 117.000
Obama: 157.000

Also: youtube users =/ average constituents
The use of internet popularity is very biased.

If you vote because of media coverage or internet searches then you don`t need to vote. Besides they might be making fun of that person would you also count that in your popularity survey?

Why can`t I vote for none of the above? I don`t like Hillary`s policy, and I fucking hate the Satan spawn that is John McCain. Obama is alright I guess, but why the fuck can`t I vote for none of the above? They should make Bush and his whole cabinet leave, and start the election over. I`m fucking sick of this government chess game. The representatives are inheriting their positions likes its a fucking monarchy. I really really want to march on the capitol.

Google Trends is not accurate compared to the Gallup poll. Even though Google has millions of statistics every day, it is biased. There is a sampling bias because not everyone in USA has the internet, and not everyone who searches on the internet is american. Google Trends clearly does not represent the american population.

The point is that people don`t know anything about Ron Paul because he`s not on TV. So he doesn`t poll well.

Youtube is a news outlet for our youth generation (including LOTS OF STONERS!) So any candidate who is directly addressing us and pandering to our cause (Legalize it!) is going to be an instant hit. The unfortunate reality of Ron Paul is that he`s only right for about 20% of the population, but people as a whole tend to fear change. He`d like to disassemble the national government, which sounds enticing now that the Bush administration has so royally screwed it up... but I think he still believes too strongly in the free-market economy.

We`ve seen what unregulated executive power can do in 8 yrs, but there`s a flip side: The nature of unregulated capitalism means that corporate power overtakes government power, and the capitalist tyrant really DOES only care about money. Most politicians are NOT LIKE BUSH/CHENEY... they join public service because they think they can help their country. I`d rather hedge my bets on keeping up a system that tries to split the difference and finds an adequate compromise.

But I see one particularly big problem with Ron Paul: He ran as a Republican during a sea change towards Democrats. Not only did he get shoved aside by the majority of his party, but a HUGE portion of his fans had already picked up the fight against the NeoCons (modern Nazis in church garb), and to do that we had to take the Democrat/Independent side.

Also, the NeoCon takeover of the republican party means that any of Ron Paul`s possible supporters from within his own party would have been bullied into supporting someone else. The Republican party has to change or die. I hope R.P. can build the momentum he needs to either form a new party or kick out the NeoCon/Christian extremes into a separate party.

man, I hate it when I rant without realizing it.
