life is far too harsh, i`d say don`t even put them in prison for much longer, make them do community service for a few years in places like old age homes etc where they have to clean up shit, change and bath the aged, get abused and have things thrown at them and all their efforts belittled by those who are too mentally incapable of looking after themselves.
These stupid adolecents would learn some perspective VERY quickly about REAL life and just how hard some people have it. It would be something they would never forget (although the males probably deserve to be raped for beating on a girl like that).

i think the 2 guys were outside the house to look out for the grandmother of one of the girls, because it happend at her grandmother`s house. according to the media they didn`t take part in the beating so they have less charges. in some ways i think they are giving it more attention than usual since it`s so sensational. ppl get pulled to alleys or parking lots and get beat up and robbed all the time, and it doesn`t make news. i do believe they should be punished because what they did was really disgusting, but i hope the case is handled appropriately.i wouldn`t mind if someone kicked their asses though

Give them the harshes punishment possible. Make an example out of them. Simple as that. I`m all for dont talk shit unless you can back it but this breaks all the common sense rules of settling scores physically.

the victim was hospitalized... and wasn`t recognizable by her own father... this wasn`t a random act. this was a planned assault that went on for a long time. these girls are going to jail. and anyone who thinks otherwise.. well.. imagine it was your little girl.
