What if the big bang was a spark in a much larger world. A being striking metal against a stone and creating the "big bang". Yet we are so tiny that we perceive the event at a MUCH slower rate...just a random idea

actually scientists think that hot jupiters formed far out and migrated inwards, sweeping up or throwing out of the system any smaller objects, which is why there`s nothing else in systems like that.

^^ MasterHobytla good theory except we now also know there are other smaller planets left in further out orbits still...of thse same systems :}

In space no one can hear you get raped by a pink haired punk rocker chick.

A small bit of misinformation at 2:24. An object moving toward you will actually look slightly redder not bluer, because the wavelengths will be close together, thus higher frequency, and red has a higher frequency than blue. Just like sound (except that sound has no color)(unless you`re on acid).

Edit: They got the video example right at 2:30, they just mixed up the narration.

Why do they have that punk chick in there? She doesn`t have a doctorate obviously... I guess they just wanted her for the fire dancing. She sounds like an undergrad that took an intro to astronomy course.
