Emergency Landing At Fukuoka Airport

A Boeing airliner operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA) has made a spectacular emergency landing in Japan overnight. The jet sent out a stream of sparks before screeching to a stop after it was forced to turn back minutes after take-off due to mechanical problems. None of the 141 passengers and eight crew members were injured in the incident involving the Boeing-767 in Fukuoka on the southwestern island of Kyushu, the Japanese airline said.

wow, terrifying...did you see the scary sparks!!??!! I made more sparks bottoming out in my car once. You sure everyone survived? that was a pretty harsh "EMERGENCY" landing. What shite.

^^ Yeah, the sparks werent part of the emergency. Most likely engine problems. Because they turned back early, the plane was over weight for the tires (all the fuel they planned on burning). That was just the rims on the runway.

^What engine problem? Can you see that some piece of metal is hanging from the one one the main landing gear? It probably prevented the gear from retracting or they have been notofied that something was wrong with the gear after take off. The spark were produced by the hanging part scraping against the runway. it`s not the rims.
