Bullshit, unless there is another make, model, year, color, etc in the system of the same car with a similar license plate. All the cops need is a few letters from the plate. Simple guess and check method would easily figure that out. It may take them a little longer but it definitely isn`t 100%.

Taking the entire license plate off however...or a switch like The Transporter had...shyea.

Love it, it might even work in court sometimes, because if a cop gets the liscense number wrong on a ticket, it`s one of those mistakes that could get you off.

I wouldn`t want to bank on it, but technicalities are technicalities, and it`s supposed to be up to the officer to get the details right.

I live in phoenix, and i can tell you those speedtraps are bullshit. I`ve gotten a ticket (no joke) for 2 mph over the limit. $214 for 2 fucking miles per hour. Only one on a straight road, no danger to anyone, and some asshole decided to make his quota.

So anything to keep them from doing that is a plus to me.

Criminilizing traffic speeds doesn`t work, and is just an overglorified tax...

Over here (scotland) they are even more crafty since the camaras take a pic of the driver too...

dont think you are safe at night either those camaras have a motherfucking megawatt bulb that flashes so it can capture your mug...
