I like how this series bring up a very important point in the end. I`m not sure if anyone saw it, but while philosophies and histories may seem boring, they have an important function.

We all have inherited responsibilities, and all our actions have consequences.

Back when this cartoon was made him not studying was fine. Nowadays, if you burn your notes and miss out on your tests you can`t get a job. With no job you can`t make any money. And without money you can`t "live the life".

Great segment, I was surprised at how thoughtful it was.

^i`m 21 and have never been to college. the last 3 years of my life i`ve just been making money and partying. Next year i`m putting a downpayment on a house outside of the city. granted i`ve had the blessing of not having any dependants, but the thought that the only way to be successful in life is to be put in a box and learn a bunch of crap you don`t care about is offensive to me.
