I don`t like it because I don`t like people trying to remake a song that is as near to perfect as possible. I don`t like people recreating a masterpiece. Obviously, the comparison well always arise, and obviously, when you try to recreate such a great and important tune, you are doomed to failure.

kashshaptu calm down. I find it annoying when someone like yourself is confused as to why he is voted down. If you expect a perfect 5/5 rating for all your videos fuck off to a website that has no none. The whole point of putting in a rating system is so that a video such as this one doesn`t make the front page. people dont want to hear a bunch of emo mumble a good song into oblivion so please next time you expect a sympathy vote on this website stick a knife into a wall socket. Plus look at the criteria for making the front page. It really isnt that hard if a video doesnt make it tough shit try again.

If you want a perfect 5/5 rating, upload a video that everyone likes - simple.

For a start, politics is a polarising topic, so one opinion will never garner 100% support.

And as has been said before, this is a poor cover of a great song. They did OK to give it a different, darker feel... but that only takes away from the beautiful melancholy of the original. Having said that, I think a rip-roaring, fast tempo, punk version could be quite successful, musically.

This is a fucking amazing re-creation. In order to call it a failure you would have to give an example of where it fails beyond your low vote and whatever those on spiked vote it.

I agree that the original was amazing and imo the best, however this one is fucking great as well. Unfortunately people would rather hate on a new version.. if you pay attention the artistic value of this is grand.

Maynard re-did the song in a dark tone rather then an uplifting one.. basically taking what was a sad song with a smile, and turning it in to a sad song with a frown!

5/5 because APC is amazing, and this song is amazing..

Quit ragging on this guy for being "Emo". Yes it shouldn`t matter too much what other people think and therefore he shouldn`t really care.

Anyone who thinks this video, song or the premise of the whole thing is "stupid", "lame", "emo", "bleeding heart" etc etc is a stupid fuck and has no right to be walking this earth. The fact is: the world is a gluttonous, greedy, wasteful place and the vast majority of the gluttony, greed and general waste/overconsumption comes from North America.

John Lennon was 110% RIGHT. Anyone who says otherwise is a selfish, shit-eating prick that should have never been born.
