This was really funny.

But it wasn`t a realistic use of the speech recognition, as he kept talking into it casually and wondering why it came up with the text.

It was very funny as a joke video, however if he was being serious it`s poor on his side.

No you didn`t.

Windows Voice Recognition is not advanced enough for dictation. I`ve worked in PACS for years and we have heavily integrated Dragon Naturally Speaking, and as one of the most robust and complete solutions out there, even IT would have run in to many of the same problems like in this video. That`s why we send corporate trainers to teach the radiologists how to dictate properly. That`s why they spend 1 million a year on service contracts, for us to teach them.

8 years ago, this technology did not even exist. What you had was a pre-pubescent stage of VR that was no where near the accuracy of even Windows VR. Don`t believe me? I don`t care, I`ve worked in an industry where VR has been a focal point for over a decade. I`ve had my hands in it, and you just read about it.
