He sure is fiddling with those steaks an awful lot. I`ve always found when you`re grilling up steaks, especially fine specimens such as those ribeyes, the less you mess with it the better.

He`s doing it all wrong. The steak should not be turned so many times. And you shouldn`t add the other stuff, salt/pepper is enough because anything else would mask the flavor of the beef. He also didn`t let the steak rest, which is one of the most important steps.

One note to point out, don`t watch this hammered drunk, because then you will try and grill just about anything you have in your fridge, and you will burn your house down!

Not bad, but I agree he flipped em too many times. Sear on both sides, move off the direct heat and DON`T TOUCH THE FUCKERS! I love to grill and my rib-eyes always turn out perfect. I add a little chili powder or cyan pepper to them cause I luz spicy stuff.

Great Video, but he did SO0 many things wrong.

Well, just maybe a few.

1. Contaminated the Steaks by placing them on the cutting board.

2. Not letting the steaks rest before slicing them.

3. FAILURE at seasoning.

4. Touched/turned them too much.


Hell, I`d still eat them though.

If your your rib eye is bone-in then its not a rib eye, its a cap-off rib steak. Calling that a rib eye is letting your tongue very loose by meat cutter standards. Rib eye, rib steak and cap-off rib steak are three different steaks from the same cut.. rib. That looks like a very tender but poorly cut cap-off rib steak.

And I cant believe the idiot put his cooked steak on the same cutting board he used prior to cooking his meat. Dont do that... Just dont watch videos like this and if you want some real good steak recipies go to the butcher at your local supermarket. If you`ve gone all american and your meat department has all its meat shipped in cut and packaged then you`re fucked (there is no butcher).
