This is one of my favorite Hicks` deliveries. I also love the one where he goes on about finding god, from an acid trip.

I think Bill Hicks was probably the 2nd coming of Christ. In fact I even think Jesus was the Bill Hicks of his day. Think about it, they both died in their early thirties, while having a following in their preachings, they didn`t become famous until after their deaths, they both preached new ideas about God and the Universe. 5/5 for anything Bill Hicks. Fuck Pat Robertson, and his gospel. Bill Hicks is closer to real truth than any relgious fundamentalist I have ever heard.

I could believe that Jesus was "enlightened" by some sort of hallucinogen (technically an entheogen I guess), and whether that vision was the truth or not, he believed so strongly in it that he managed to convince a lot of friends. Thousands of years and a hundred generations later, and we`re left with a message that`s been modified and edited too many times to even comprehend the original intent.

So yeah, I agree it`s time to find a new messiah, one who`s more up to snuff with our current culture and technology, and Hicks can have my vote too.

Praise Hicks.... praise our savior! hahaaha

Bill Hicks was incredible. He used comedy as a way to challenge peoples beliefs. It came natural to him, this bit is one of my favorites from him, this and "It`s just a ride" basically sum up every experience I`ve had on shrooms. Very profound interpretation of what life and reality is. It may sound strange to some, but Bill Hicks and Alan Watts are to me, modern day messiahs.

^Yes, he was an amazing man, but you can tell by his mannerisms he was in great distress. They say a lot of comics are actually very sad, and I think it is because their third eye is wide open and they see many things that go un noticed by others and realize how fucked up life is.
