Once in high school some mates and I once built what we called `the matrix`. It was basically just a big stairwell filled with about 20 upturned chairs; thus creating a pit of spikes.

It was called such because the trick of it was that you had to move like Neo to get through without dying. I think I have video someplace of it when someone failed. Maybe I`ll find it.

The way I always learned was that the matrix was a part of google, not the other way around.

But I still don`t fully comprehend what google is all about!!.. Maybe Stephen Hawkins can explain it, but I doubt I would understand

If they can load anything they want in the Matrix, what in the hell is up with that shitty little TV? Why not load up something decent, aside from a 1970`s 18 inch POS operated with dials.

anyhow, excellent movie.. it influenced movies after it.. it made them much much better :)

A shame the next two weren`t half as good as the first Matrix. They got it right first time round, but if you ask me they tried to be too mystical in the other instalments. Anyway, this was a damn cool movie and bloody good bit of film-making.
