The toy company that brought the world the puchi puchi bubble wrap simulator will be releasing a new toy later this month: the Mugen Edamame (”Endless Soybean”). This new toy seeks to simulate the enjoyable experience of popping beans out of a soybean pod, and as this video shows, people seem to enjoy it. The makers of the toy believe that the act of popping soybeans out of a pod can be just as enjoyable as eating the beans. If that isn’t entertaining enough for consumers, they’ve also added cute little faces to the middle bean in each pod, so that collectors will have to buy many of the Mugen Edamame to obtain all 12 normal faces and the one special secret bean.
