BTW, if you are, or are considering becoming a serial killer, play chopin after every murder and leave a looping cd for the police to find. Them`s classy killens. hahaha.

Amazing talent. It reminded me of the movie The Pianist, which I just watched a few weeks ago - turns out it`s the same piece of music used in the scene with the german officer, so I guess that explains it...

Only reason I listened to this all the way through (and know how to actually pronounce chopin correctly) was because of the game Eternal Sonata for the 360 (Great game about chopin`s life, obviously with fantasy stuff thrown in).

Who says games can`t teach you things.

it`s a shame they didn`t have a better recording equipment back in those days :`( !

I can only imagine being there , hearing this live !!
everyone must try to be holding their breath as long as possible in the first three to four minutes he plays.

^^ there were some Chopin Noctures (he wrote many Noctures) in "The Pianist", but the scene where the piano player is confronted by the Nazi in the abandoned house, and the officer asks him to play - he plays this piece, Chopin Ballade #1 Opus 23 (in the movie, it`s only excerpts from the very beginning, and the Coda at the end).
