will give it a watch... samurai champloo was good but i felt the story was taking too long so i stopped watching it :( good animation tho.

This is a 5 episode series but you can tell the creator had enough of a story line for an entire 50+ episode series. It`s very action packed but sometimes it seems like they dismiss the biggest enemies way too quickly.

Yup, Samuel L. Jackson did do the voice for the afro-samurai (his name is in the tags =] ).
Anyways, this series was awesome. Same for Samurai Champloo. I wish more stuff would have intense fighting scenes like those two series.

You see intense fighting in Rurouni Kenshin but not as gory. If you watch Samurai X it is gory and intense.

To the dude who said Samurai Champloo is better than this... Not in a million years buddy. Champloo is fun, but not badass like this :) Plus there is no annoying girl who is looking for a dude that smells like sunflowers in this anime. Music by Rza, voice by Samuel Jackson and a badass cowboy badguy at the end.. badass factor is off the scale here :D

Samurai Champloo owns all anime in terms of character dynamics. My favorite anime, and i have seen a lot =0
Ninja scroll pretty awesome movie too, i heard Afro samurai was not that good so i did not watch it =X
