Waste of resources, its part of evolution. If they can`t evolve to cope with changing environment they are not worth saving.

@ Neferati

People will change the environment faster then anything can evolve. Frogs are like the canaries they used to use in the mines. Except for the world.

Go ahead and laugh while species disappear. Till you realize its something we can never get back. Or maybe enough things die off and you`ll realize even humans need a sound ecological environment to live healthy and happily.

In Australia everything smells like a smoothie bar or a real bar, I realized that last night.

But this information sounds like the fungus is the main reason it is killing off leftover frogs.

You are right about human change environment faster then most animal can evolve. However, we as human have speed up the process of evolution of animals by selective breeding. We will keep other species alive as long as they serve the need of our human. The best way for this frog to survive, is to be useful for our human race. Then we will make sure this creature will survive.
