^ @ puffmax, yes just for me to validate your statement, the coals he went through WAS real hot coals, back then Jackie Chan did his own stunts with no fake stuff like now a day stunts. You sir get voted up for your knowledge of fight scenes.

0.o since when DIDN`T jackie do his own stunts? don`t think i`ve ever seen a Jackie Chan movie.... even a recent one.... that didn`t have a blooper reel at the end of the movie showing him goofing up some of the stunts. If i remember correctly.... very, VERY few actors do their own stunts, especially martial artists. Jackie Chan is one of them. think Jet Li also does a lot of his own stunts.

Granted, Jackie`s stunts may have dropped slightly in complexity and danger..... but he`s practically broken more bones and injured himself more than most daredevils, just trying to make his movies worthwhile. I don`t blame him if he doesn`t risk his life that much anymore.

There is another fighting part in this movie in the beginning that just as good, where Jackie is drunk fighting. he got hella pissed in this scene.

God DAMN Jackies an f`in badass! I can understand why some of the newer scenes aren`t so crazy, I mean the guys getting older! I wish fighters like this could stay young forever!

All I know is that when I fight drunk, it never looks so spectacular! LOL, well, maybe in my mind it does :p

just to add to the first comments.
Jackie Chan did the hot coals scene twice. the second time he got badly burned.
they used the first take.

Chan often has multiple takes of quite difficult stunts, even if it means risking serious injury many times.
