Japanese "Water Horse"

Amazing hologram marketing campaign for the Loch Ness monster movie, The Water Horse, in Japan.
They go all out and use a giant hologram in Tokyo Bay. The feat uses a water screen (carefully sprayed water jet) and exact light projections to create a giant pseudo-3-D Loch Ness "Water Horse" monster in the bay.
Really a well done piece of advertising and technological demonstrative achievement.

^Sorry but no we don`t.
The birthrate is so low because everything is so expensive.
Got a car? Gas is 150 yen a liter and every 3 years you have to do a SHAKKEN on your car (safety inspection) worth from 200$ to 500$. Don`t even talk to me about insurance.
Want to go out for a family dinner? How does 10,000 yen (100$) for a family of 4 sound?
Want to educate your kids? Take out a loan.. you’ll need it.

C`mon guys. If you saw that from a distance, without knowing what was going on. Would you think that that could be real?

Just a question... don`t flame me.

My point is, the technology today astounds me as the years progress.

Not to be pedantic about a pretty awesome advertising gimmick, but wasn`t that just a projection onto a flat sheet of water? Rather than any kind of `hologram`, I mean.

What`s that supposed to mean Shifty? You mean...occupied by the US post-WWII? Or are you implying that the US controls Japan?

Although its awesome looking, its not really amazing technology. This can only happen at night (or in the dark) all they did was shot mist into the air and had a projector shooting at it......its just something that you don`t see everyday and pretty awesome looking. But the technology isn`t like that of R2-D2.
