Video taped by Yuri Lipski who killed in a diving accident in the "Blue Hole", Dahab, Egypt at 28.4.2000. The video shows rare footage taken by Yuri's head camera, analyzed by specialists. Since 1968, more than 100 divers lost their lives at this mysterious place.

well i`m no expert but i think its due to his weight and that the water pulled him down...he can`t swim up cause his holding the camera, like i said I`m no expert but thats just wild guess.

Hmm i assume they ruled this possibility out upon finding the body but even so at 5 mins in you see what looks to me like a shark and again at around 5 12 top left corner of the screen it looks like a shark taking a bite. Then again I know bugger all about diving or sharks and sincerely doubt i saw anything an expert didnt so meh (shrugs).

I dont know what the fuck happend kind of hard to really see anything, but ive gone scuba diving b4 in Cancun at some 2nd biggest coral reaf in the world and it was fucking kick ass, beautiful animals and ithen i got sick and i threw up in the water and all the fishes came and feasted up on my leftovers it was well worth it.

that video was numbing. i actually got an adrenaline shot watching that.

his tank/breather got caught up on a bunch of rocks/plants/sand. he paniced and became even more entangled, probably lost track of his breather.

unreal. watching the cameraman shake and twist for air.

fuck.


on a side note, i really enjoyed the perspective of this video. watching people analyze the video was much better than just watching the video.

now that you mention it, i did know it was called a regulator. i`ve never heard of a 2nd stage though.

it is unfortunate that your only thoughts and feelings about a diver drowning are about correcting my technical ignorance.

What a horrible way to die...and then to add insult to injury, you have jibberish-talkers mesmorized by your death video, as if it was a horror movie. They had nothing better to do so they decided to all huddle around a television on a Sunday afternoon to watch their pal die an agonizing death. By the way, who was that dishevelled fat guy at the end suggesting that the sport is too dangerous? It`s not like they`re going to fit his fat ass into a wetsuit unless it is custom made by the zepplin company.

Note to self: don`t film underwater excursions...liable to die, like this guy and that crocodile hunter (forgot his name).
