Apparently this guy`s views of quantum physics aren`t all within the accepted norms.

He`s apparently one of the "consciousness causes collapse" advocates: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consciousness_causes_collapse

From what I can find - his views on quantum physics and consciousness don`t reflect the majority scientific viewpoint - and have even been refered to as "psuedoscience". So keep that in mind while watching this 3 part video. It`s potentially not hard science. It`s not like watching Sagan, Kaku, Hawkings, or Nye. It`s fringe.

"We experience everything through the "mirror of memory" and not directly".
So what I understand from this is, we experience things with some expectency (memory) what causes the infinite possibilitys to collapse to the to similar outcomes everytime. If we experience the world directrly, that is without the "mirror of memory" the quantum events would be different, and not as repetitous.

This would mean that a robot could do the schrodinger`s cat experiment and would see a cat both dead and alive. Since the robot has no consciousness to collapse the wavefunction.

Wasn`t this guy on "What the Bleep Do We Know"? Everything on that movie was very much distorted with an emphasis towards religious mumbo jumbo. Vote this crap down. It is most likely taken way out of context by fancy editing. That was a major complaint by all the experts on that movie.

Dr Goswami can speak and write English quite eliquently. Why, just because he speaks with an accent do you assume he can’t speak English?
I thought what he had to say was quite well thought out and logically presented.
