when i use to be in middle school there was a kid that was mentally not there. The kid couldn't talk or anything he was retarded and shit and had to use a little computer thing to type out what he wants to say. however he had a photographic memory. i watched him read a book and all he had to do is look at the page for like 5 seconds if not less then that and he was done with that page.

First, you can't speed up the tape, if you did then the lines that are cause on a screen when you tape it (like a tv or computer moniter) would go faster. Second, you can actually understand what he's saying. They didn't fake it. Cool to see someone speaking so fast, even messed up on the ending section of the song he read.

Bit late for a comment but you can change the speed of audio without altering the pitch (for eg: Sound Forge Time Stretch command). Using Sound Forge like this (set to ~160 %) it sounded like a normal person talking so it could have easily been faked although personally I have no opinion either way as to whether it's genuine.

ahhhh yeh if u think this is fake ur pretty dumb, there are no signs in the tape, the computer screen refreshing line does not speed up, if you speed up a tape his words would not be as well pronounced, and memorizing it? get real, and even if he did memorize it he is repeating whats in his memory bloody fast. but you can see he is reading it from his eyes.

so get over it its not fake, its genuine. bloody good job to him and good clip.

Its real. There are some people who dont have short-term memory, IE everything they read and hear goes directly to their long-term memory. The people who have it have a hell of a time trying to think about things, but they can read an entire chapter-book back to you if they have read it, without looking at the pages...
