The term "Life" does not mean Lifetime. It means its more of an undetermined amount of time (but expect it to be 15-25 each count I think). Confirmation from an American Law Student pending I assume.

Life without parole in Canada has a max of 25 years (per count).

That was a very harsh sentence compared to other crimes, but I do agree with it. At that point its cheaper to give him the chair/gas.

I think that sentence was a little wierd, not that I think child raping should be tolerated or something, it`s just that murderers gets of easier than that most of the time.

In thr UK life usually means about 8 to 12 years. I just assumed the USA meant life to mean life.

I would sentence him to 5 hours in a room containing 20 mothers armed with small shape knives.

Shit, I don`t feel any sympathy for him. I`d rather his life truly was over. Who likes a child molester? Who can sympathize with a child molester? Anyone who preys on young kids really doesn`t have a place is society, and needs to be removed from it. They won`t reform, they won`t learn anything, they`re sick in the head, and it won`t get better.

I think this is what they call `Munchausen by proxy`. The mother lets this happen so that she can recieve a little attention and sympathy. Everyone likes a little attention and sympathy.
