March 26, 2008 - A section of Antarctic ice seven times the size of Manhattan has broken awa from a large ice shelf. Scientists say it is a sign of continued global warming.

a little too clean if you ask me, star wars laser beam used to incite public opinion and belief in a cause that really is happening due to heating cycles of the sun, because global warming here cannot cause the recorded warming of other planets and moons in the solar system.

It`s not unnatural and its not because of anthropogenic global warming. It`s simply the usual rhetoric of the media and climate scientists who are getting rich off the myth.

Indeed, the overall Antarctic ice sheet is increasing in mass. Of course, they want to blame that on humans too.

We`re finally getting a little bit past the "everything causes cancer" phase of modern society and have now entered the "everything is caused by global warming" phase.

Cancer has risen drastically with "advancement." Probably right back to the point where we started tearing up the earth and setting stuff on fire. A bunch of monkeys on a planet of forrest do not get cancer the way we do. something is increasing cancer rates. my money is on a little bit of everything.

Cancer rates are increasing primarily because people are living longer. Cancer is one of those inevitable diseases. If nothing else gets you sooner, then cancer will eventually. The same goes for Alzheimer`s. Think about it; one by one we`re knocking down diseases and conditions that used to kill millions of people every year. It`s only natural that the tougher ones to conquer are going to affect more people.

But fuck all that, cancer is caused by global warming!!

But yah, this shows no proof of global warming. "The scientists predicted this would happen in 15 years" ... 15 Years on a global time line is so small you cannot see it, if they were off by 75 years, it would not have been surprising. Ice melts, and refreezes, moves, and shifts all the time in the Artic. Maybe not as often with such large quantities of ice, but pushing the global warming myth like this is just silly.

in all truth, I personally don`t care about global warming. I don`t believe we could ever put the planet in danger.

I do, however, care about human survivability on this planet. If that means using recycled materials, driving my vehicle with biodiesel, using a solar water heater and being more conscious about how i effect a the place my kids will live in someday I`m more than willing to "go green".

Maybe global warming is a myth, but screw it. If it comes down to my kids, i`d rather be safe than sorry. Same reason why I drive slower and more carefully when the kids are in their backseats.

Global warming? so thats why its never snowed up here in march... way a second it just snowed yesterday and today.. man that global warming is a bitch eh! Al gore didnt become a president so he had to find a different way to become famous, and since so many people are so easily mind controled with fear, he made up "Global warming" and blamed it on humans just to get his walk in the spotlight. Bullshit, oh and btw today (or yesterday, whatever you wanna call it) between 8-9 was suppose to be a lights out for an hour, i turned all mine on. :)

The earth gets warmer, the earth get cooler. That`s the way it`s always been. I like the way the media and politicians imply that the earths temperature should be stable. When the reality is the earths average temperature has always been in a cycle.

oh my god its global warming everyone run for the hills... anyway, i wonder what would happen if at least two volcanos erupted and released ash into the atmosphere? it is a proven fact when that happens the ash remains in the atmosphere for years and slightly cools down the earth so.. then we would suffer from global cooling? omg not global cooling.

In the history of Earth we`ve had 4(four) documented ice ages... four .....right? OK.. between those four ice ages when all the shit thawed out did there not have to be some global warming going on? know what i`m saying? That tells me that has always been fluctuations in the earths climates. Weeelll before us humans started shitting in the punch bowl. In a nutshell.. if we`ve had four ice ages we had at least four global warmings....
