Easily on my top-ten favorites list.

A haunting, extraordinary film, but I`m telling you all, you`ve got to read the book. You`ll get a much better view of Alex`s life, his mind, and his view of the world.

Be sure to get the 21 chapter printing! At the time, the original American printing of the book omitted the 21st chapter, detailing what happened with Alex after he left the hospital. Kubrick was unaware of the real ending, leaving the film to end at chapter 20 ("I was cured, alright").

^^ Burrito, im just guessing but the book is hugely important. I tried to appreciate the movie. I heard all the hype. I couldnt. I think its an overrated piece of crap.

Everyone I know raves about this movie. Its a cult classic, or is so dubbed. I just dont get it. Maybe Im stupid, or maybe I was too young to appreciate it. Honestly, I couldnt even watch the whole thing. *sigh* vote me down.

i did enjoy this clip though. maybe ill give it another go. its been eons.

Its a classic movie one I didnt see early enough thing that always gets me is how young McDowell is. Untill I`d seen this I`d only ever seen him play parts as an older man.
