-Very neat stuff, but I don`t think the guy is charging nearly enough for it. That keyboard looks like a bitch to make, and a ton of time, and to only charge $700.00 is like giving it away.

from what I learned in class, an artist should be charging material`s cost + hourly rates which starts off at about 38$/h for somebody`s who`s just starting, so for him I would rate it at around 45-55$/h

5/5 It`s very Terry Gilliam/Brazil (one of my favourite parts of that movie) as well as Max Headroom, and a bit of Naked Lunch. Those movies have stuck in my mind and I`ve been wondering when folks would retro hi-tech to bridge the futuristic with the anachronistic.

(sigh) If only I had the money (or those skills)...

^The skills are easy to learn. It`s the expensive workshop, lack of room (small apartment), and the ability to find such a use for some objects that you would otherwise throw away/sell.

"A Fully Functional Computer"??? Sorry, but it looked like he was running windows. I don`t think you can call that fully functional.

So on the laptop, is the key just used instead of a normal on-switch? Cause I would be really amazed if it worked like just by the key alone...

Dude stfu okonomi, you don`t judge a computer by the OS, you judge it by the specs and the ability to even run software like Windows.

This is proerbly the most genius thing i have seen on here. I also think, as a few people have already pointed out, the cost he is selling them keyboards at and maybe alot of his other works, is way too cheap. I was expecting him to be letting them go for at least 2,000!
