You claim that

x + y = x²

x > y.

This is false. How so? Simplfy.

Squareroot(x²). This leaves you with x. However you must also square root the other side. So you end up with this.

sqrRoot(x+y)=x

This formula only proves that x = y. Need an example?

Use x=2 and y=2.
Thus in your orginal formula you have this.

2+2=2²
-->4=4
