I like this idea very much. They say the risks of contracting an STD or rejection from the transfusion are low but it is zero percent when its you own blood... as long as the equipment is clean.

They shouldn`t be doctors then. But seriously, if unforeseen things happen, I`m sure they have a small surplus of blood. A hospital can`t be 100% blood-free...

We don`t pay the Hospital for a visit.
It comes out of tax money, the Hospital is payed via the government.
When we leave after heart surgery it doesn`t affect our monthly taxes at all. Do we pay more taxes than you? Yes, yes we do, but at least I don`t have to worry about a $23,000 bill in the end.
