I`m a vet and was there when we launched the attack. I believed it was the right thing at the time, but the left opposed it for some of the wrong reasons. They wanted the money to go to social programs, but the real problem is that we can`t pay for it, so we can`t possibly win in Iraq if we collapse like the former USSR. Regardless of if you`re for the war or against it, you can`t debate the fact that we can`t fund it anymore. WE`RE MORE THAN BROKE at this point...

The O`Reilly haters here are just unbelievable. In this particular interview, both of these guys are acting like children. Both make some valid points and both spew some utter bile...but most of the time they`re just trying to interrupt each other and not saying anything substantive.

Anyone who give Donahue a free pass on this one is completely incapable of fair and critical thinking. Of course, I`m pretty confident that 95% of the people here who regularly bad mouth Bill O`Reilly have NEVER watched his show.

First, see how this got way off topic, this is what Donahue wanted to talk about. Second of all he didn`t answer Bills questions. He just would say so you want to send people to die. Well, do you want to be responsible for leaving helpless people to be taken over by terrorist. Think about it, who`s gonna keep power if they cant defend themselves? Those people deserve a chance to freedom, just as Bill said.

I`ll let you in on something Ronin, the United States isn`t the only country that HEARTS freedom and HEARTS saving little Iraqi children ok. If it was as simple as that, and that`s what this war was about, then don`t you think Germany, France, Spain, Autralia, and Canada (just to name a very small number of the potential countries) would be in Iraq helping.

Give me a break, this war isn`t about humanitarianism and freeing an oppressed peoples. This war is about war profiteering, oil, and the interests of a handful of people.

The only problem I have with Cindy is the fact that she lost her son BUT it was her son`s choice to go to war. Did she just expect the government to pay her child to train for a military that would never be used? Might as well be on welfare...
