There`s a 22620x15200 pixels jpg pic floating around on the net, taken by the spitzer space telescope, probably one of the largest freely available on the net. It`s 74mb in jpg, over 700 mb as a tiff.

Thi
s is the high res pic you see in the video:

Yeah, has since the late-late 90`s Andromeda has bee known as violent Galaxy.

I had seen a while ago that Andromeda has A Black hole in it.
A black hole spinning around faster than the speed of light right next door to us?

Yeah, It`s like having Russians, Mexicans, Chinese and African Americans living besides/next to you. And expecting nothing to go down in a block party.

At least thats how feel in my neighbor hood.

Okay this all sounds kinda interesting, but I remember hearing and reading in a book that our universe may be expanding? So whats the deal here? Somebody explain if you can please.

2real:
The popular theory is that the phenomenon known as red shift (which as far as I know hasn`t been disproven yet), is indeed caused by expansion. Essentially, the faster things are moving away, the light coming from those objects moves further towards the red spectrum, in a very similar way to the doppler effect. In actual fact though, physical movements of these objects is not the cause of redshift; instead, it is caused by the fabric of space-time itself spreading out by a miniscule amount, pulling apart the wavelengths of light travelling through it, which, over the vast distances of spaces, makes a difference that we can measure. I`m pretty sure there`s a video explaining space-time on spiked somewhere.
In short: the popular ideas suggest that yes, our universe is expanding.
