Barack Obama: `A More Perfect Union`

I didn`t vote for him but thought that this was a intelligent, incisive speech in which senator Obama discussed racial attitudes and animosities that politicians usually prefer to leave unmentioned.

I still won`t be voting for him, but this was a good speech. It`s about damn time we start talking honestly about race in America.

I don`t like Obama, he doesn`t seem to understand what the war on terror is about. He is just a politican who goes "Lalala our country is the greatest ever! We should go around and stop radical muslims! If they retailiate we will simply call them evil terrorists and then bomb their children! God bless America!"

If you are a Christian you would know that Jesus said that if someone slaps you on your left cheek the proper thing to do is simply ask him to slap your right one too. Revenge only creates death.

^If you are a Christian or not but have read all the parts of the Bible you would know God tells Moses:

`Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites. Treat the Midianites as enemies and kill them. After that you will be gathered to your people.`.

You can get the Bible to say just about whatever you want.

^^Well if you are Christian, you probably know that guidelines that apply to personal behavior shouldn`t necessarily be applied to national foreign policy.

You should stone someone if they:

encourage you to worship gods other than the Lord (Deutoronomy 13:10),
worship gods other than the Lord, especially the sun or the moon (Deutoronomy 17:6),
disobey a priest (Deutoronomy 17:12),
disobey his mother or father (Deutoronomy 20:21),
can’t prove their virginity on their wedding night (Deutoronomy 22:21),

And this book is infallible so you got to believe everything it says.
