but how the hell could anyone keep this a secret for 10 years when it has already been patented? all patents are available for public view

if it is cheap and it works, it doesn`t mean people can`t put it to use -- the patent only prevents people from making a profit from it

I did a pubmed search on silver oxide and aids, and found no hits. This means there aren`t any (peer reviewed) academic publications on this area of research. I`ve emailed leading world aids research Dr. David Ho, and I will report back if I get a response from him. Just wonder if he`s heard of it and know it doesn`t work, or just haven`t heard of it at all.

This might just be another crazy conspiracy theory, but if you have time, maybe look up the resident AIDS researchers at your university and ask if they`ve heard of this before.

You can search this patent number yourself. It does seem this patent # does match a "cure for AIDS". Patent was assigned back in 1997.

1) You can patent anything. I could patent dogshit as a cure for cancer. Doesn`t necessarily have to work or even be tested

2) There are numerous doctors and even AIDS/HIV foundations themselves that blow these claims out of the water. @ benchpress - u did a terrible time searching.

3) The original company is MIA. They also claimed tetrasilver, whats being described here, cured cancer. After reading the patent its all gibberish with an explosive title. What you are getting is the AIDS version of snakeoil.

Ugh. People, go do some research. The substance is a known toxin (the company (that no longer even sells the stuff; why? Likely for fear of lawsuits) just claims that "Oh, our version isn`t toxic, but a miracle cure!"), what testing has been done has usually been shoddy in its methodology, and what has even approached scientific rigor has shown no indication of actually working.

The fact that it`s patented is no indication of it being authentic, as patents are handed out for pretty much anything. From devices that give no indication that they even work, and are very, very unlikely to, at least in the way they are laid out in the patent (7062320, 6745394 (note the lack of mention of what -material- it`s made from), 5265827, 5175571), to patents for ideas that are completely and obviously unoriginal (6035447, 5443036, 4300473, 6360693, 6368227).

In short, just because it`s patented, doesn`t mean it deserves a patent, for being a novel and useful invention that does what it says it`s supposed to. And in this case, the body of evidence points to it not working.

If you still insist on thinking that this -must- be a cure, then you`ll be happy to know we also have free energy (4151431, 5402021), and anti-gravity (6,960,975). But of course, it`s because of the government/military/big business/NWO that it hasn`t entered the mainstream (rather then some silly reason like "It doesn`t work").
